Team Rwanda rider Joseph Biziyaremye finished fifth at stage 2 at the ongoing Tour International de Constantine in Algeria.
The 27 year old sits in 10th position in the general classification and is the highest ranked Rwandan rider.
Bonaventure Uwizeyimana (3:36:00) and Jean Bosco Nsengimana (3:38:04) finished 14th and 15th respectively while Valens Ndayisenga was 22nd (3:39:41) and is fifth in the mountain category. Nsengimana is 10th in the mountain category.
Janvier Hadi and youngster Jeremie Karegeya came 28th and 30th respectively after crossing the line after 3:44:38.
Today, Team Rwanda will embark on the last stage from Mila to Constantine, a total distance of 134km. This is the ninth of the 10 races at the Grand Tour d’Algerie that started on March 6.
