For most boxers, the run- up to a big fight presents a number of issues like anxiety.
However, this is not the case with Uganda’s heavyweight Kenneth Odeke, who is due to take on Iranin Sayed Abbas Nassib, in a WBF title fight at Kati-Kati restaurant on Friday.
The 22-year-old said that he is in the right frame of mind ahead of the fight. But Odeke admitted that he has no clue about what sort of boxer his opponent is.
But the Kampala-based pugilist is confident that he will do whatever it takes to bring down his opponent.
“I even have no idea how the guy looks like, all I know is that Iranians are good boxers,” Odeke stated after a training session at Nakivubo stadium.
“But I have no worries because I have done whatever is necessary to win the fight.”
The hard hitting Odeke has won all his three fights since he joined the professional ranks.
