StarTimes’ staff and their families gathered in a colourful event to celebrate a family day bonanza in Dar es Salaam at the weekend.
That joyful event comprised of several cheerful activities as the company’s management, staffs and family members enjoyed a day out in style.
Speaking at the event the Chief Executive Officer of StarTimes Tanzania, Lio Yao noted that it was very important to commemorate the family day regarding the whole world do the same.
“Efficiency of any company or organization in the world depends heavily on the good relationships it has with its staffs.
“Through this event, I believe it will be a good start to establish and promote interactions among ourselves so as to achieve our goals as a whole,” Lio said.
That special day did not only give the management, staffs and families an opportunity to interact but also featured many recreational activities that cheered up the participants.
Some of the activities included foods and refreshments, music, and several sports and games such as football, volleyball, sacks race, chicken race, tug-of-war and many more which gave the players an opportunity to win different kind of prizes.
Apart from sports there was also a lucky draw involving both the staff and journalists played live and won themselves wonderful prizes from StarTimes such as decoders and free monthly bundles.
