The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Competition Director, Boniface Wambura, said the final match of the inaugural championship will kick off at 2pm.

Temeke booked a place into the final after thrashing Ilala 4-0 in the semi-final clash at the same venue on Thursday, while the same day saw Coast region defeating Kigoma 3-2 in another semi-final encounter.

Neema Paul scored a brace for Temeke. Her first came after 12 minutes before scoring the second in the 62nd minute. Shamim Hamisi scored the third goal seven minutes later, before Stumai Abdallah wrapped up the score in the 70th minute. In the second match, Coast Region came from behind to win the trilling encounter.

Kigoma went in front through Vene Gideon in the 11th minute but Johari Shaaban netted the equialiser four minutes later. Amina Ramadhani scored the second for Coast region in the 39th minute for the match to end 2-1 at the break.

On the restart, Tumaini Michael scored the third for Coast Region in 57th minute, but skipper Wema Richard scored an own goal in the 66th minute to give Kigoma the second goal, which was, however, not enough to at least force the game into extra time.
